Digby joined Citizen Zoo in 2023 as their Urban Rewilding Officer, transitioning from a career in education to pursue his passion for wildlife conservation. With experiences ranging from teaching in China to volunteering at Citizen Zoo's Kingston sites and working with London's environmental data, Digby has developed a deep understanding of urban biodiversity. A research internship in Costa Rica studying neotropical bird flocks has allowed him to apply his knowledge and experiences of camera trapping and surveys to the Ealing Beaver Project, helping to set up the ongoing monitoring methods of both the beavers and other wildlife. Digby has also overseen essential site preparation and restoration work both pre- and post-releasing beavers to Paradise Fields.
