After relocating to London from Cornwall after completing a degree in Marine Biology, Citizen Zoo’s new Urban Rewilding Officer is enthusiastic about exploring the city's potential for wildlife projects. With extensive fieldwork experience, including a green turtle census on Ascension Island and efforts to manage invasive species, Pia was inspired by this successful beaver reintroduction at Paradise Fields, is eager to integrate her skills in community engagement and education to connect urban residents with nature. Having already helped run tours and maintenance sessions on-site, she is excited to learn more about the project and help develop it in the future.
