Join us for a hands-on day caring for the wetland habitats that newts and other wildlife call home! You’ll learn practical conservation and habitat management techniques that help support amphibians, improve biodiversity, and keep the site thriving.
It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet other volunteers, and learn new skills while making a real difference for nature.
Meeting Point
At the beaver mural underpass, opposite the McDonald’s car park in Westway Cross Retail Park (What3Words: wacky.vibes.spider).
Parking
Free parking is available for up to 4 hours at the retail park, or unlimited free parking at McDonald’s.
What to bring
- Clothes you don’t mind getting muddy
- Plenty of water
- Lunch (or you can grab food from one of the nearby shops)
